my book tour is just a conduit for community!!!
yapping with you all is helping me regulate my nervous system *cries*

While the introvert/homebody in me is throwing up over this travel schedule, it also feels so special and healing to share space with everyone coming out to my book events. Each stop is so different, we might as well be discussing different books! But I love the unpredictability of it all :)
Thus far, my favorite conversations have come from moderators, audience members, and I in mutually vulnerable exchanges, candidly discussing everything from unlearning propaganda, to surviving while participating in settler institutions, to the contradictions and responsibilities of living in the imperial core. On theme with the year of the snake, we are shedding and renewing, grieving and anticipating, all while integrating insights as we midwife new worlds. And we are doing it together while remaining soft and open-hearted.
